It uses Responsive Web Design (RWD) to automatically reconfigure its layout to fit the screen size and shape of the device it's being viewed on, creating the optimum user experience whether it's phone, tablet, laptop or desktop.
User Friendly Navigation
Minisite has a sticky navigation bar that sticks to the top of the browser window as the user scrolls down the page, allowing them to quickly access the navigation at anytime and easily jump to different sections. Also, when any on page link is clicked, Minisite smoothly scrolls to the link location, giving the user a sense of where they are on the page and where they are going.
Live Customizer
Minisite leverages and extends the native WordPress Theme Customizer, allowing you to easily customize the appearance of your site in a user friendly interface and preview changes live in real time before publishing. Traditional websites usually spread their content over many web pages, which can cause loading delays when linking from page to page. Minisite eliminates this delay by condensing all content on to one seamless scrolling web page. This saves valuable time for users, especially those on mobile devices, which is the dominant platform for viewing websites.
Although Minisite is designed and optimized for one-page websites, it can also be used for traditional, multi-page websites too. Actually, it makes a great minimal starter theme!
Minisite requires the self-hosted version of WordPress (see WordPress requirements). Minisite only works on the hosted version of WordPress at WordPress.com if you have a Premium, Business or eCommerce plan, all of which allow uploading of third-party themes.
Minisite will likely work with most WordPress plugins but unfortunately there's no way to guarantee it works with all plugins. Please note that Minisites does not support issues with third party plugins. We recommend contacting the plugin author for that.
Like WordPress, Minisite is licensed under the GPLv2 (or later) from the Free Software Foundation. This means that you may use it for both personal and commercial projects. You may also modify the theme to suit your needs. Please note that Minisites does not support issues with modifications made to it.
Minisite can be downloaded for free here and Minisite Plus or Pro can be purchased here. If you purchase Minisite Plus or Pro, an email will be sent to you with a download link where you can download the theme.
Then, like any other WordPress theme, Minisite can be installed in the WordPress Administration area by going to Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme > Choose File > Upload > Open > Activate. For more information, please see the documentation.
- Minisite has limited features but can be used on unlimited sites.
- Minisite Plus has all features but can only be used on one website.
- Minisite Pro has all features and can be used on unlimited number of websites.
Yes. We provide support for Minisite via the support forum to those who have purchased Minisite from this website. Please note that support is not available for compatibility issues with third party plugins or general WordPress questions. For plugin support, we recommend contacting the plugin author and for general WordPress support, we recommend wordpress.org/support.
The theme will continue to work after your license expires and you are free to continue using it for as long as you like, but if you do not renew your license, you will no longer receive support or updates.
Please note that we do not recommend using outdated themes, because WordPress is updated frequently. Keeping themes updated and having support is a good way to avoid unexpected results.
Minisite is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied. Minisites does not guarantee that it will work in all browsers, nor that it will be functional with all versions of WordPress. Minisites does not guarantee compatibility with any additional third party plugins, scripts or applications and does not provide support for any issues with these.
Since it's not possible to return digital goods, we generally do not offer refunds. Please read the documentation prior to purchase to ensure that Minisite is right for you. By purchasing a subscription it is assumed that you fully understand and agree to the Terms & Conditions.
A refund may be will be considered if the following conditions are met:
- You have purchased a subscription within the last fourteen (14) days.
- You have attempted to resolve the issue with our support staff through the support section.
- Our support staff has determined that Minisite cannot be used in your environment.
Please note that if you are refunded, your will license(s) will no longer be valid and you will no longer be able to receive theme updates or support.
